Snow Day Revisited

Woohoo! Snow day all around and we're loving it. Tom shoveled the driveway and Cassidy and Maasen played in the growing piles of snow. I figure a lot of people are at home, checking their e-mail, surfing the interweb, so here are some photos.

Then after her time outside she came in and I tried my hand at home-made hot cocoa. It worked pretty well, and she was very excited about it. She may have also had a cookie...(I couldn't help myself. I love snow days!)

Nice! I love the videos, especially the snow swimming. And you're right I'm at home on the computer trying to get some work done, but playing with photos and checking the blogs way to often. Thanks for the entertainment Leah. You're so great!

Hot cocoa... shouldn't that be espresso?

Pretty background. Even prettier little girl. Do you take the picture of the flowers?

you caught me. i am totally stuck at home, surfing the interweb :) it was really fun to have some bits and pieces of your day for me to enjoy from afar. and i'm jealous of maasen and cassidy for being able to go out and play. it was simply too cold and blowy here for any outside ventures. oh well, i guess i'm just contenting myself with blogs, hot tea refills and working on knitting my sweater :)
and who knows? tomorrow might be a repeat forced rest day!

Gotta love the forced rest days! (although I tend to need forced work more than forced rest. I'm pretty good at resting. :)

I love the way lil cass says "hot cocoa," as if the pressure of the word builds up and is then released quickly, perforated by the syllables.

What a fun day! And nice fresh layout...more girly than I would have expected from you...?

She is too young for espresso, Cassie. You know better (besides, she doesn't want it, remember?)

Allison, yes I took a picture of the paper whites.

Stephanie, good work on knitting! Can't wait to see how it turns out. I bet you'll have more free time tomorrow.

Kait, I am so girly you have no idea...not really. But I do like pretty things.
